Thanks, Rocky and Mathey

Thanks, Rocky and Mathey

A few of our friends at Rocky.

Last week we met with about 30 students at Rocky and Mathey over lunch to talk about their digital lives. We learned a lot. Here are some take-aways:

  • a student's digital footprint is a patchwork of apps and sites that help them navigate their day
  • friendships are critical to staying informed
  • social media helps people stay in touch, get news and find events

We also learned meeting facilitators should eat before they run a lunch-time chat (OK, that's a lesson for me).

Thanks to Justine Levine at Rockefeller College and Rebekah Massengill at Mathey College for their hospitality and help.
